Judge Acosta said, “It is the ruling of the court that all the rioting participation cases will be released on their own recognizance.”

In Texas crossings at the southwest border totaled 68,260 in January, according to U.S. Customs and Border Protection data.

This indicates a drop from December when the 149,806 migrants who entered. It was still among the highest rates in the country.

Over the last 3.5 years during the Biden administration the numbers have skyrocketed.

Critics claim that when President Biden dismantled former President Trump’s executive orders for Border Protection, he created the chaos.

Governor Greg Abbott has championed stricter immigration measures.

The Biden Administration and immigration advocates, continue to say that the bill is unconstitutional. And the authority to detain or deport migrants rests entirely with the federal government.
