Also, during DeSantis’ time in North Port, he sounded off against the revelations of the NIH funding gain-of-function studies. DeSantis proclaimed these government bureaucrats should be shut down; he also made a point of noting they don’t have the right to run amok with taxpayer dollars and do whatever suits them.
Finally, DeSantis stated the “mad scientists” with the NIH cannot be allowed to “play God” in the aforementioned manners.
No word from the White House
DeSantis is far from the only Republican leader to speak out about these latest scandals of the NIH. Many conservatives are in the same boat; they, too, share the outrage of the Florida governor.
However, there is absolutely no word from the White House. President Biden has not condemned the NIH abusing puppies, slashing their vocal cords, and having sandflies eat them alive.
Likewise, the White House has not condemned the NIH admitting Fauci lied about them not funding gain-of-function research. Thus far, there’s no sign the Biden administration will hold Fauci accountable.
