Police say Aqib’s brother Yaqub Talib fired multiple shots killing Hickmon in front of two teams of children and their parents.
“After seeing the video and how he was being pursued, I just don’t see how only one person can be charged in the matter,” Hickman’s friend Lawrence Ellis said to WFAA.
Aftermath
The video has now been turned over to the police. And all the witnesses are still being interviewed in the case.
The Talib brothers are familiar to Dallas Police. They have allegedly been involved in multiple shootings. And were investigated in the 2016 V Live strip club shootings. Aqib Talib and two other people were shot that night.
There were also investigations into other shootings since 2015. According to locals, whenever the brothers are fighting “the guns come out.”
