Stellantis Recall: Over 300,000 Ram Trucks Affected by Faulty Braking Systems

Stellantis Massive Recall
The recall affects 317,630 trucks from the 2017 and 2018 model years, including Ram 2500, 3500, 4500, and 5500 models. While most of these vehicles are in the United States, a small number are in Canada, Mexico, and other regions. Stellantis assures customers that repairs will be offered free of charge, with affected owners notified soon. For further information, customers can contact Stellantis at 1-800-853-1403. In addition to product recalls, Stellantis faces internal challenges. CEO Carlos Tavares unexpectedly resigned last week, citing “different views” with the board of directors. The automaker is also grappling with declining sales, which have led to layoffs and rising inventories. Last quarter, Stellantis reported a 27% drop in net revenues compared to the same period last year. Stellantis was formed in 2021 through the merger of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles and the French PSA Group, with headquarters in Hoofddorp, Netherlands. Despite current struggles, the company remains a significant player in the global automotive industry.
