Found Frozen 2 arrested

Authorities have arrested two suspects in connection with the deaths of three Kansas City Chiefs fans, who were found frozen in their friend’s snowy backyard in Kansas City, Missouri, following an NFL watch party more than a year ago.

"After an investigation of nearly 14 months, two suspects are now facing felony charges in Platte County, including involuntary manslaughter, related to the deaths of three Chiefs fans in January of 2024," the Kansas City Missouri Police Department announced in a press conference on Wednesday.

The three men who died all had Fentanyl in their systems.

Charges Against the Suspects

The suspects, Jordan Willis and Ivory J. Carson face three counts of involuntary manslaughter and two counts of delivery of a controlled substance, excluding 35 grams or less of marijuana or synthetic cannabinoid, as per court records obtained by Fox News Digital.

Carson, who went by the alias "Blade Brown," allegedly supplied and sold cocaine to Willis and the victims. His DNA was also found on a bag of fentanyl, according to court documents.

"KCPD detectives never stopped working on the case, waiting for all the facts to come in. Reaching this point is a testament to their dedication to delivering justice for the victims and their loved ones," said Kansas City Police Chief Stacey Graves.

Timeline of the Tragedy

Willis was a longtime friend of Clayton McGeeney, 37; Ricky Johnson, 38; and David Harrington, 36. The three men visited Willis’ home in Kansas City on January 7, 2024, to watch the Chiefs play the Los Angeles Chargers.

Two days later, McGeeney’s fiancée discovered their bodies in Willis’ backyard after an exhaustive search. Family members reported that Willis was unresponsive to phone calls and did not answer his door in the days following the deaths.

Willis, however, told authorities that he was unaware his friends had died outside his home and had not been contacted by their loved ones.

Victims Found Frozen

Preliminary autopsy results revealed that fentanyl, cocaine, and marijuana were in the deceased men’s systems. Despite this, their families have raised concerns about Willis’ involvement, with some considering legal action.

It was also speculated that the men overdosed before they were found frozen.

John Picerno, Willis' attorney, previously told Fox News Digital that "charges [will be] forthcoming in the next few weeks," based on "internal conversations" with prosecutors.

Court records confirm that Ivory J. Carson supplied and sold cocaine to Jordan Willis and the victims. His DNA was found on a bag of fentanyl.

Picerno has defended Willis, asserting that his client was not responsible for the deaths.

"I can say with confidence that my client will not be charged in that regard," Picerno said at the time. "My client will not be charged in any manner with having to do with the untimely death of his friends."

When asked about potential criminal charges related to the deaths, Picerno stated, "The criminal liability could be for a felony murder charge if somebody provided those young men with drugs."

Willis’ Life After the Incident

Following the tragedy, Willis moved out of his Kansas City home and entered a rehabilitation program. His attorney has stated that his "life changed forever" due to the incident.

A source close to the Willis family shared with Fox News Digital that the 39-year-old Ph.D. holder and research scientist "still struggles with the aftermath of all of this."

"[He] not only lost good friends of his, but [had] many people turn on him," the source said. "It affected every part of his life, and he's doing the best he can. He has been helping with his dad's care this year and trying to stay positive."

Fox News Digital reached out to Willis’ attorney for further comment. It remains unclear whether Carson has retained legal representation.
