WHAT TRUMP SAID

The president declared that U.S. armed forces have delivered what he called "swift, decisive, overwhelming victories on the battlefield" over the past four weeks. The ground-level reality of Operation Epic Fury is harder to spin.

However, the United Arab Emirates' Ministry of Defense reported that its air defenses intercepted five ballistic missiles and 35 drones launched by Iran on Wednesday alone. Since the start of hostilities, UAE air defenses have intercepted 438 ballistic missiles, 19 cruise missiles, and more than 2,000 drones. CBS News
