Intensive Investigation at Heuermann’s Property

This latest discovery, initially reported by The New York Post, follows intensive investigations by the New York State Troopers and Suffolk County Police at Heuermann's residence in Massapequa Park, New York, since his arrest earlier this month.

Photographic evidence from Fox News Digital reveals that the search of Heuermann's home involved ground-penetrating equipment, a backhoe, and cadaver dogs.

Potential Evidence Seized

Throughout the week, investigators have been steadily removing boxes of possible evidence from Heuermann’s property. The 59-year-old architect stands accused of murdering at least three women and has been indicated by the prosecution as a suspect in a fourth case. Despite the charges, Heuermann, through his lawyer Michael Brown, maintains his innocence.

Among the items extracted from the house were over 200 firearms, a life-size doll encased in glass, a large portrait of a woman bearing a bruised face, and a filing cabinet. Investigators, identifiable in "crime lab" attire and protective suits, were seen carrying out various household items including a desktop computer, a sizeable picture frame, and a mirror.

These charges are an astonishing breakthrough in one of New York's most infamous unsolved mysteries. Beginning in 2010, police on the hunt for a missing woman near Long Island's Gilgo Beach stumbled upon 10 sets of human remains dispersed along a long barrier island.

The victims, comprised of eight women, one man, and a young child, were deemed unlikely to have been killed by a single perpetrator. However, several of the bodies found in close proximity were suspected to be the handiwork of a serial killer, now alleged to be Heuermann.
