A dinner at a Los Angeles restaurant turned into a tense and unsettling evening when pop icon Britney Spears was allegedly seen acting erratically, according to a fellow diner who described the night as “rough” and unpredictable.

A QUIET NIGHT THAT QUICKLY SHIFTED INTO CHAOS
A dinner guest who says he witnessed Spears’ behavior at Blue Dog Tavern in Sherman Oaks claims the evening escalated into repeated disruptions, raising concerns among patrons and staff.

Jeff Sneider told Page Six that he and a friend arrived at the restaurant around 7 p.m. PT on Wednesday when a woman wearing sunglasses entered with two companions. He did not initially recognize her.

"The woman sat down and proceeded to make a lot of woofing or barking noises and just throw a lot of outbursts,"

Sneider said the identity of the singer only became clear after she removed her sunglasses.

"It wasn’t really until she took off her sunglasses that we realized, ‘Oh no, this is Britney Spears.'”

REPEATED MOVEMENT AND RISING TENSION AT THE TABLE
Sneider, an entertainment reporter with two decades of experience, alleged that Spears repeatedly stood up and sat down throughout the meal, appearing restless and difficult to settle.

He also claimed that at one point she may have been holding a knife while moving around the table, saying she appeared to have “forgot to put down her silverware.”

He clarified that he did not feel personally threatened.

"I wasn’t threatened or anything like that,"

However, he said the atmosphere became alarming for others nearby as the night progressed.

"But when she eventually left, I turned around and was like, ‘Holy s—t that was crazy!’ to the entire section."

DINERS CLAIM FEAR AND CONFUSION
Sneider said one woman seated nearby felt directly threatened during the incident, alleging Spears approached her while holding a knife.

"She had a knife and came toward me. I thought she was going to stab me."

Sneider added that while he does not believe Spears had violent intent, her behavior made the experience deeply uncomfortable for those seated nearby.

He described her as disruptive throughout the dinner.

"She was definitely a nuisance to sit next to at dinner."

ATTEMPTS TO CALM THE SITUATION
According to Sneider, the two people dining with Spears attempted multiple times to calm her and encourage her to remain seated, but were not successful.

"They definitely tried their best to get a handle on her but she was obviously a handful,"

He also said staff intervened at one point after Spears allegedly lit a cigarette inside the restaurant, instructing her party that it needed to be extinguished.

DINNER DETAILS AND BEHAVIOR INSIDE THE RESTAURANT
Sneider claimed Spears barely ate, saying she “picked at” a burger and fries and even shared food with her bodyguard.

He also alleged that food was left scattered around the table area by the end of the meal.

"She was in rough shape last night and it was hard for me and my friend to carry on a conversation."

Despite the claims, he said he did not observe the group being asked to leave the restaurant.

REP PUSHBACK AND DENIAL OF DANGEROUS BEHAVIOR
Representatives for Spears pushed back strongly against the allegations, rejecting any suggestion that she posed a threat during the dinner.

"This is completely blown out of proportion. Britney was enjoying a quiet dinner with her assistant and bodyguard. She was simply telling the story about how her dog was barking at the neighbors,"

They added that there was no dangerous use of utensils.

"At no point did she put anyone in danger with a knife,"

"She was cutting her hamburger in half."

TMZ REPORT ADDS MORE CLAIMS
Separate reporting from TMZ described a “chaotic” scene, alleging Spears was raising her voice, screaming at times, and barking during the meal.

A patron also told TMZ that she walked near their table holding a knife, which caused concern among diners.

RECENT PERSONAL CONTEXT
The incident comes just weeks after Spears reportedly completed a rehab stay following her March DUI arrest. She was seen publicly again on April 30 after finishing treatment.

Shortly after returning home, an insider told Page Six that the singer was “doing really well” and “excited to start afresh.”

"Rehab was a great opportunity for her to ground herself,"

Spears’ camp has not publicly addressed the TMZ account in detail beyond the earlier statement.
