A Caitlin Clark Rookie Card just made history, selling for a record $660,000. This makes it the most expensive women’s sports card ever sold.

The sale was finalized through a Fanatics auction on July 24, 2025, and has nearly doubled the previous record—also held by Clark.

A Historic Sale: Caitlin Clark Rookie Card

The rare card, a 2024 Panini WNBA Rookie Royalty Flawless patch autographed one-of-one, features a patch from the Indiana Fever’s ‘Red Rebel’ jersey, Clark’s signature, and the hand-written inscription: “769 pts and counting.”

 That number reflects the total points she scored during her 2024 WNBA Rookie of the Year season, leading the Indiana Fever to their first playoff appearance in eight years.

"It's no exaggeration to say that when it comes to Caitlin Clark's top cards, this one truly lives up to its 'one-of-one' stamp," Fanatics stated in the card’s description.

Clark’s Panini Partnership

In March 2024, Caitlin Clark became the first female athlete to sign an exclusive multi-year deal with Panini America.

“It’s an honor to partner with Panini America as their first multi-year exclusive female athlete, and I’m excited to collaborate with them on my own collection,” Clark said.

Explosive Growth in the Collectibles Market

Sales of Caitlin Clark memorabilia have surged:

• Searches for “Caitlin Clark” reached 11,000 per day on eBay from January to April 2025.
• The number of items sold skyrocketed by 3,000% from 2022 to 2023, per eBay data.
• Autographed cards have fetched over $10,000, with one special 3,528-point milestone card selling for $20,000.

“No women’s professional basketball player has ever had a collectibles market like this prior to professional play or at this stage of their careers,” said Tai Fauci, co-owner of Bullpen Sports.
