It wasn't until Tuesday that Sean "Diddy" Combs' kids broke their silence amid the whirlwind of legal trouble swirling around their father. But rather than addressing Diddy's sex trafficking charges, they took to their respective social media platforms to defend their late mother, Kim Porter, against shocking conspiracy theories.

Quincy Brown, Christian Combs, Jessie and D'Lila twins have come forward with an emotional statement via Instagram in the wake of the resurrection of false rumors surrounding their mother's 2018 death. A recently released fabricated memoir based on "Kim's Lost Words" has ignited wild conspiracy theories claiming foul play was at play in Porter's passing.

These claims were quickly shut down by the Combs family, describing the book as "100% fake" and asking that their mother be remembered for her beauty, strength, love.

Fake Memoir Fuels Kim Porter Conspiracies

Self-published book Kim's Lost Words: A Journey for Justice sent social media into a tailspin with many believing that Porter's death was far more than the official ruling of lobar pneumonia.

While the book did top Amazon's best-seller list, siblings Combs didn't waste any time in discrediting the book, stating anyone claiming their mother wrote a memoir is "misrepresenting themselves."

The long-accepted tragic but natural death of Porter is now being unfairly entangled with the ongoing legal issues haunting Diddy. According to The Independent, the author of the memoir-a legitimacy already in question-has stated that he can't even confirm the authenticity of the book himself.

Diddy's Legal Troubles Pile On

Meanwhile, Diddy himself has been embattled in a nightmare of legal trouble as his children are being forced into defending their mother's memories. Arrested in September, serious charges run from sex trafficking to orchestrating elaborate "Freak Off" parties that span over a decade.

The women were allegedly drugged, coercively participated, and filmed without consent. Though Diddy has pled not guilty, the allegations do cruelly mar his public image.

Meanwhile, his legal team scrambles to come up with explanations-most notably, the strange claim of the thousands of bottles of baby oil discovered in a raid of Diddy's properties. His lawyer explained in an interview with TMZ that it simply came from Costco buys, which has not stopped the reason speculation has ceased.

50 Cent's Netflix Docuseries Set to Reveal More

With the world continuing to monitor the case, Netflix readied a docuseries produced by Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson, promising to delve into those shocking allegations against Diddy. It would be a "complex narrative spanning decades," they said-promising investigations into not only the charges of sex trafficking but, broadly speaking, the hip-hop industry.

50 Cent, one never to back away from a fight, said the docuseries will provide "real and multi-dimensional views," making sure the voices of victims are heard. As anticipation builds, this may be that important tipping point required by people to help them decide where to stand on the case. For more on the story, see Variety's exclusive preview.

Public Reaction and Kim Porter’s Legacy

In the midst of these rumors, Diddy's children are itching to keep their mother's memories alive. The trending social media platforms have been filled with support to leave the Combs family alone, which has echoed the sentiments among fans that Kim Porter should be remembered for who she was, and not because of the conspiracy surrounding her death.

Meanwhile, as the Combs family fights public scrutiny, the court case against Diddy threatens to be one of those long-dragging cases.

Without bail granted and mounting charges, his career, reputation, and freedom are on the line. But let one thing be made clear: Kim Porter's memory is definitely not something her children will allow to be tarnished.
