Earlier today, President Trump spoke at the Values Voter Summit, as reported by the White House. Some of the highlights of his remarks centered on the Iran deal, public markets, healthcare, and tax cuts.

Excerpts from the President’s Speech

The very beginning of the President’s public statements focused on the acknowledgement of what many consider to be the greatest things in America:

When America is unified, no force on Earth can break us apart. We love our families, [love] our neighbors. We love our country. Everyone here today is brought together by the same shared and timeless values. We cherish the sacred dignity of every human life.

He then touched on U.S. religious liberties and freedoms:

Religious liberty is enshrined in the very first amendment of the Bill of Rights. And we all pledge allegiance to — very, very beautifully — one nation under God. This is America’s heritage, a country that never forgets that we are all — all, every one of us — made by the same God in Heaven.
