Only one episode is left, and with several major characters still in play, fans are intensely debating the outcome of the finale. The biggest question dominating discussions is whether Homelander will be killed off after years of chaos and destruction.

At the same time, betting markets have turned the show’s final deaths into high-stakes speculation involving real money.

$14,000 BET ON THE DEEP SPARKS CAST REACTION

One character who has made it through to the end so far is The Deep, played by Chace Crawford. In a recent interview with Today, Crawford reacted when told that $14,000 is riding on whether his character dies in Season 5.

“It could be my $14,000! We don’t know,” Crawford playfully replied. “Insider trading… it’s still the wild west on Polymarket, right?”

He also revealed that people have been pressing him for answers behind the scenes, but he is refusing to reveal any spoilers.

“I’ve gotten some texts actually, from some people who were like, ‘Hey, really, dude, what episode is it exactly if you do?’ Can’t confirm or deny,” he said.

POLYMARKET BETTING HEATS UP ON CHARACTER DEATHS

A quick look at Polymarket shows that fans are placing large wagers on which characters will die in The Boys Season 5. Several major characters have already been ruled out of the market, including Firecracker, A-Train, and most recently, Frenchie.

Current betting trends show intense speculation around key survivors and potential casualties. Odds currently place Homelander at 89% for a death outcome, The Deep at 81%, and Billy Butcher at 55%. After that, the probabilities drop sharply for remaining characters.

OFFICIAL RULES GOVERNING DEATH BETS

“A qualifying death must show the specified character dead on screen, or otherwise that character’s death must clearly be stated to have occurred, even if offscreen (e.g., characters confirm their death in conversation, the funeral of a character occurs, etc.),” reads the betting rules.

“If a death is reversed through a revival, resurrection, or reanimation that occurs after the character has died, that death will still qualify. Deaths occurring in any timeline or dimension depicted in The Boys: Season 5 will count toward resolution.

“Flashback scenes showing a character alive before their death, as well as dream sequences, hallucinations, or visions of dead characters, will not affect resolution. Characters who were already confirmed dead before The Boys: Season 5 begins will not count toward this market’s resolution.

“If a character’s fate is deliberately left ambiguous, it will not qualify toward the resolution of this market. Only deaths confirmed by the end of The Boys: Season 5 will qualify.”

FINAL OUTCOME STILL WIDE OPEN

With the finale approaching, nearly every remaining character is considered vulnerable in the eyes of bettors. One major exception appears to be Soldier Boy, who is currently back on ice after Homelander’s confrontation with his father.

He is expected to return in the upcoming spinoff Vought Rising, but for now, he seems safely out of the final season’s death speculation.

For everyone else, the stakes have never been higher, and the final episode is set to decide who lives, who dies, and who becomes the biggest payout in this unprecedented betting surge.
