At a rally in Pennsylvania, Thomas Matthew Crooks, a 20-year-old from the area, shot former President Donald Trump in the ear. The would-be assassin was killed by Secret Service snipers.
The event unfolded on Saturday at the Butler Farm Show grounds, where Trump was addressing his supporters.
Crooks, positioned over 130 yards away on the roof of a glass manufacturing plant, began firing at the former President with a semi-automatic assault rifle.

One bullet hit Trump’s ear and tragically struck and killed Corey Comperatore, a 50-year-old attendee and former fire chief of Buffalo Township, Pennsylvania.
Comperatore was remembered as a hero by his family and community. He was known for his dedication to firefighting even after his retirement.
