The senseless killing of Daniel White in his local business has shocked the community of Lewisville. White was a longtime resident of the North Texas town. And his family is devastated by the pawn shop murder.
On February 14, three suspects entered White’s shop with the intention of robbing it. During the robbery, White was shot and killed. The suspects fled the scene in an SUV.
After a public plea for information from White’s family, 18-year-old JaTevon Marquise Johnson turned himself into Dallas police on Saturday, February 27.
Johnson has been charged with capital murder and is currently in the Lewisville jail with a bond set at $1 million. The investigation continues. And the police are still looking for the other two suspects.
The family of the victim expressed their grief and urged anyone with information to come forward. White’s wife, Yolanda, pleaded for people to speak up and do the right thing, saying that her husband would have done the same.
