USA HERALD – On Friday, President Donald J. Trump publicly called on Microsoft to terminate Lisa Monaco, its newly hired President of Global Affairs, alleging that her background in the Obama and Biden administrations makes her a danger to U.S. national security.

Monaco, who previously served as Homeland Security adviser under former President Barack Obama and as Deputy Attorney General in the Biden administration, assumed a senior corporate role at Microsoft earlier this month. The company has not issued a formal response to Trump’s statement as of press time.

Trump took to his Truth Social account on September 26, 2025, to deliver a lengthy rebuke of Monaco’s appointment, describing her as “Corrupt and Totally Trump Deranged” and a “menace to U.S. National Security.” He alleged that Monaco had been involved in multiple politically charged investigations, including the Russia probe, the January 6 prosecutions, and the FBI’s search of his Mar-a-Lago residence.

“Monaco has been shockingly hired as the President of Global Affairs for Microsoft, in a very senior role with access to Highly Sensitive Information,” Trump wrote. “Because of Monaco’s many wrongful acts, the U.S. Government recently stripped her of all Security Clearances, took away all of her access to National Security Intelligence, and banned her from all Federal Properties. It is my opinion that Microsoft should immediately terminate the employment of Lisa Monaco.”
