Gunfire Sounds at the Golf Course
According to sources familiar with the matter, the shooting happened close to the golf course, and Secret Service agents responded by firing at the suspect. Trump later told ABC News that he was near the 5th hole when he heard “popping sounds” — what appeared to be gunfire nearby. However, it remains unclear if the suspect directly targeted Trump with his weapon.
