Given the outcome of Super Tuesday, the 2024 presidential election is all but guaranteed to come down to a rematch of Joe Biden vs. Donald Trump.

Here’s where the 2024 race currently stands

While surveys have shown that most of the country doesn’t want a 2.0 version of 2020, this appears inevitable.

Biden is handily winning the Democratic primary, while Trump remains on track to pick up the necessary delegates on the GOP side. For all intents and purposes, Biden and Trump stand as the de facto nominees of their respective parties.

Throughout the primary, Trump and his team trashed supporters of now-former GOP hopeful Nikki Haley. The former president even declared that anyone who donated to Haley’s campaign would end up “permanently barred” from his MAGA movement.

Trump’s daughter-in-law, Lara Trump, who could potentially head the Republican National Committee, has also stated that GOP members who aren’t on board with seeing Trump as the 47th president are “welcome to leave” the party.

With Biden on route to facing off against Trump once more, his campaign is taking a different approach towards Republicans and other Americans who cast ballots for Haley.

Extending the olive branch?

After Haley suspended her presidential run, the Biden campaign released a statement noting the “courage” it takes to seek the White House. The president also commended Haley for “[speaking] the truth” about Trump.
