Within the past 24 hours, the 2024 presidential election has seen significant developments. While former UN ambassador Nikki Haley won the Republican Party’s Vermont primary yesterday, former President Trump carried the remaining 14 states that voted during Super Tuesday.

On the Democratic side, Joe Biden handily prevailed in most states and territories where voters cast ballots. His then-challenger, Dean Phillips, has not won a single state – or delegate – since the primaries began.

Despite polls that show most people across the country don’t want another rematch of Joe Biden vs. Donald Trump, this is all but certain to be the makeup of November’s general election.

Hours ago, both Nikki Haley and Dean Phillips terminated their campaigns to become the 47th president of the United States.

The end of Haley’s presidential run

During a press conference earlier this morning, the now-former GOP hopeful declared the time had arrived to discontinue her campaign. This came on the heels of Haley vowing to remain in the race until at least Super Tuesday.
