The gloves are quickly coming off in this year's presidential election. Joe Biden - the de facto nominee of the Democrat Party - and Donald Trump - the de facto nominee of the Republican Party - are each vying to secure a second term in the White House.

To this end, the incumbent president is looking to woo Republicans and Independents who backed former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley over Trump in the GOP primary race. Meanwhile, Trump claims if he doesn't win in November, America may endure a "bloodbath" and never see another election again.

As Election Day gets closer, Biden and Trump will each continue taking increasingly more vicious shots at one another. However, political buffs will have something to look forward to soon after, regardless of who wins the race on November 5.

Former President Clinton announces new book

In a recent statement, the 42nd president revealed the upcoming release of his memoir on November 19. Clinton described the book as his post-presidency story. Though he also noted its pages would detail the influences other people have had on his personal journey, along with his own "mistakes."

Titled, "Citizen: My Life After the White House," Clinton's memoir will address his marriage to Hilary Clinton, along with his views on the Iraq war, Russia's president, and the events of January 6, 2021.

Later in his commentary about this forthcoming book, the former president talked about various impacts of entering new life chapters. Per Clinton, this inspired him to consider his effects on others, the future America's children will inherit, and the possibilities of unity among this nation's citizenry.

A common path for US politicians

Many of our nation's political leaders have gone on to write memoirs about their lives, work, and experiences in the public sector. More often than not, there's a certain fascination surrounding these figures, thus driving the demand for them to release tell-all books.

As November 19 gets closer, Americans who wish to purchase the 42nd president's memoir will have the chance to do so. It will likely be available for pre-order on platforms like Amazon and make its way to bookshelves in stores and airports.
