A chilling killing in Florida has erupted into a political flashpoint after a graphic video of a fatal Florida hammer attack was amplified by Donald Trump, reigniting fierce debate over immigration, rhetoric, and the use of violent imagery in public discourse.

The surveillance video, captured outside a gas station in Fort Myers, shows a man—identified by authorities as a Haitian immigrant—fatally striking a woman with a hammer. Authorities said the suspect had attempted to withdraw cash from an ATM inside the convenience store but failed. He then demanded money from the clerk. The following day, he returned and carried out the fatal assault.
