PRELIMINARY ASSESSMENT | PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION CONSTRUCTED FROM DECLASSIFIED RECORDS

By Samuel López | USA Herald - They dropped 162 files on the American public on May 8, 2026 — and buried inside decades of redactions, military incident reports, and third-hand intelligence memos is something extraordinary: the raw material to begin constructing the first credible, evidence-based physical profile of whatever it is we have apparently been sharing this planet with.

This is not science fiction. This is sourced. And it is long overdue.

The Pentagon's PURSUE program — the Presidential Unsealing and Reporting System for UAP Encounters — represents the most sweeping act of UAP transparency in American government history. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth put it plainly: "These files, hidden behind classifications, have long fueled justified speculation — and it's time the American people see it for themselves."

What the American people are now seeing, if they know where to look, is a mosaic of credible eyewitness accounts, classified intelligence reports, and formally documented physical descriptions that, when assembled piece by piece, begin to form a shape — literally.

So, let's build that shape.

The Documents That Describe Them

Start with the FBI's Guy Hottel Memo — Case Reference, FBI Vault, released publicly in the 1970s and now part of the expanded PURSUE archive with fewer redactions. In a March 1950 communication from FBI Special Agent Guy Hottel to FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover, an Air Force investigator relayed that three craft had been recovered in New Mexico.

The memo, a formal government record, states that each craft "was occupied by three bodies of human shape but only three feet tall, dressed in a metallic cloth of a very fine texture. Each body was bandaged in a manner very similar to the blackout suits used by speed flyers and test pilots."

The saucers themselves were described as "circular in shape with raised centers, approximately 50 feet in diameter."

Three feet tall. Human in shape. Wrapped in fine metallic fabric. That is not speculation — that is a government document.

Then comes FBI Case File 62-HQ-83894 — now released with several newly declassified pages under the May 2026 disclosure. This sweeping file compiles eyewitness testimonies and public incident reports spanning 1947 through 1968, a period when the United States government was quietly but aggressively cataloguing encounters with phenomena it could not explain. The Dallas Field Office teletype from July 8, 1947 reports a recovered "flying disc"near Roswell, New Mexico — the opening entry in what becomes a pattern of reported recoveries with biological occupants.

Under Oath: The Testimony That Changed Everything

In July 2023, former U.S. Air Force intelligence officer and decorated whistleblower David Grusch appeared before the House Oversight Committee's national security subcommittee and, under oath, told Congress that the United States government is in possession of "non-human biologics" recovered from crash retrieval sites.

His testimony — formal, sworn, and on the congressional record — was based on interviews with over 40 credentialed individuals with direct knowledge of classified programs.

"My testimony is based on information I have been given by individuals with a longstanding track record of legitimacy and service to this country," Grusch told lawmakers.

Former Pentagon insider Luis Elizondo, also a formal witness before Congress, stated unequivocally: "UAP are real. Advanced technologies not made by our Government — or any other government — are monitoring sensitive military installations around the globe."

When asked directly whether the U.S. runs secret crash retrieval programs designed to reverse-engineer alien craft, Elizondo responded: "Yes."

Assembling the Profile: A Preliminary Physical Description

Cross-referencing every documented account — government memoranda, formal military incident reports, sworn congressional testimony, and historically consistent witness descriptions — a preliminary profile begins to emerge.

These beings appear to present in at least one documented physical form that is two-footed and humanoid in overall structure, though markedly smaller than the human average. Based on the Hottel Memo's formal description and consistent accounts across decades of declassified material, the stature appears to range between three and four feet in height. The build, by all accounts, is slight — narrow through the torso, with limb proportions that witnesses across multiple eras describe as elongated relative to the body's core.

The cranial structure appears disproportionately large compared to human anatomy — a feature so consistently reported across unconnected witness accounts, from military aviators to intelligence officers, that its recurrence cannot be dismissed as cultural contamination.

The facial features, as described in pattern across credible reports, include large, wrap-style ocular structures — eyes that occupy a significantly greater proportion of the facial surface than in human beings. The nose and mouth structures, where described at all, are minimal. The skin tone reported most frequently across independent accounts ranges from pale gray to a faint translucence.

What is particularly striking from the documentary record is the consistent description of a body covering — not clothing in any conventional human sense, but a form-fitted material described in the Hottel Memo as "metallic cloth of a very fine texture," applied in a manner reminiscent of pressure suits. Whether this represents environmental protection, a biological interface, or something not yet categorized by human science remains an open question. But it appears across the historical record with enough frequency to treat as a data point, not a detail.

One Form Among Possibly Many

What makes this investigation more complex — and more urgent — is the growing body of evidence suggesting these beings may not be limited to a single physical presentation. Congressional testimony, classified briefings described to investigators, and patterns in the incident reports suggest the possibility of different classifications of non-human intelligence, some of which may operate across physical and non-physical states. This is not a fringe theory — it is a line of inquiry now being formally pursued at the institutional level.

The Pentagon has committed to releasing more files "on a rolling basis." The National Archives has established Record Group 615 — the Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena Records Collection — as a permanent repository under the 2024 National Defense Authorization Act. The machinery of disclosure is now in motion.

The question is no longer whether something is out there. The question — the one these documents are beginning to answer — is what they look like when they are standing right in front of you.
