Many Americans would love to see Florida Republican Governor Ron DeSantis make a run for president in 2024. Thus far, DeSantis has not announced any plans to seek the presidency; however, the Florida governor's popularity and status within the GOP continues to rise.

DeSantis' leadership in the Sunshine State has ensured that freedom, open businesses, and individual liberties maintain. Moreover, the Florida Republican governor has rejected vaccine passports, outlawing both businesses and the government from mandating anyone to show proof of vaccination.

This week, Governor DeSantis addressed the Lincoln Day Dinner audience in Pennsylvania with a riveting and memorable speech.

When DeSantis spoke to members of the Allegheny County GOP, he did not mince words.

The Florida governor delivered a 30-minute speech and implored states across the nation to follow the lead of the Sunshine State; in so doing, DeSantis urged for communities to reopen their schools, do away with mask mandates, and permit individuals to make their own choices.

DeSantis then gave some insight into his future plans. The Florida governor informed the Pennsylvania audience that he's just "only begun" fighting; DeSantis then made it plain that Republicans must not regress back to the failed days of the GOP establishment.

Before the governor of Florida concluded his remarks to his audience, he urged the Republican Party to hold the line and never back down.

Will Governor DeSantis make a presidential run?

At this point, whether or not DeSantis plans to seek the White House is the million dollar question. For right now, Americans will simply have to wait and see; however, in multiple polls, the Florida governor beats out several other Republicans on the list of favored GOP 2024 potentials.

Many conservatives have noted the parallels between Governor DeSantis and former President Trump. Some would love to see a Trump-DeSantis 2024 ticket; others maintain that DeSantis himself should make a run for the White House.

The Florida governor and former president remain strong allies and friends. Weeks ago, Trump declared that should he make another run for the White House, he would strongly consider DeSantis as a running mate.
