Rockstar Games has finally given millions of impatient fans a real date to circle: pre-orders for the long-awaited Grand Theft Auto VI will officially kick off on June 25 across digital platforms like the PlayStation Store and Microsoft Store, as well as select retailers.

Along with the announcement, Rockstar unveiled the game’s striking official cover art, featuring protagonists Jason and Lucia in classic GTA style — bold, colorful, and packed with nods to the game’s vibrant, Florida-inspired Leonida setting, complete with flamingos, alligators, fast cars, helicopters, and motorcycles.

GTA VI is scheduled to launch on November 19 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S after multiple delays from its original 2025 window.

After more than a decade since GTA V redefined open-world gaming, the hype around its sequel has reached fever pitch.
