Haley Dunks on Trump For Getting “Confused,” Gaffing During Public Speeches

The GOP primary is currently a two-person race with former United Nations ambassador Nikki Haley vying for the party's nomination against former President Trump.

Haley continues to position herself as a candidate who can deliver commonsense conservative policies without any of the chaos or drama that she warns both Trump and Biden remain saddled with.

In the aftermath of the Iowa caucuses and New Hampshire primary, the state that's next up is South Carolina. As Haley's home state, this race will receive a lot of attention between now and Saturday, February 24.

Earlier tonight, the former UN ambassador clearly stated she's excited to continue campaigning across the country. Earlier today, Haley also spoke with CNN, pointing to instances that she believes speak to the cognitive decline of Donald Trump.

Confusion during public speaking events?

During her interview on Tuesday, Haley noted Trump lacks "focus" and has demonstrated "confusion" while speaking to his supporters. In so doing, she reminded CNN of Trump mistaking her for Democratic Rep. Nancy Pelosi when talking about the events of January 6.

Haley then cited the former president's claim back in September that giving Biden a second term would lead to "World War II." In actuality, Trump meant to say "World War III. Haley - and many of her supporters - believe America can't run the risk of having a president in office who routinely makes these types of mistakes.

During the 2020 presidential election, Joe Biden routinely came under fire for the same sort of verbal gaffes that Trump's now making in public.

With Biden and Trump both close to 80, Haley maintains that it is time for this country to have a younger leader taking the reins of power in the White House.

Next up: the South Carolina Republican primary

From this moment to February 24, Americans can expect to see Nikki Haley on the ground in the Palmetto State. This evening, the 2024 hopeful spoke with supporters, letting them know she's staying in the race and very excited to campaign in remaining states.

After the South Carolina primary next month, GOP races in Michigan, Idaho, Missouri, and the remaining states will commence.
