Halle Bailey and her ex, DDG, have been trending in the media since their shocking breakup. The split comes less than a year after having their son, Halo. DDG, an internet personality and rapper, has been very vocal about the breakup since announcing it himself on Instagram, while Bailey hasn't publicly spoken about it. Recently, the singer addressed her ex-boyfriend via a post on X that had the internet debating about the two of them once again.

The rapper DDG, real name Darryl Dwayne Granberry Jr., often streams on Twitch and YouTube where he communicates with his followers and entertains them. Sometimes he will have Halo with him on the stream, a face that his fans love to see. The infant had even become an internet meme after one of his streams.

In the world of streaming, it's common for the streamers to join each other on live. It brings both of their fanbases together and creates more buzz and exposure for each party. Tonight was no different as DDG joined popular streamer Kai Cenat's live. Kai Cenat has the most subscribers on Twitch and has had big celebrities on his stream including Nicki Minaj, Kevin Hart, Offset, and many more celebrities.

Halle Bailey Statement

Halle Bailey took to her personal X account to address Halo being on Kai Cenat's stream. In her since-deleted post, she writes, "Hi everyone, just so you know, I am out of town and I don't approve of my baby being on a stream tonight," she continues, "I wasn't told or notified and I am extremely upset to have my baby in front of millions of people. I am his mother and protector and saddened that I wasn't notified, especially when I am out of town."

This comes after many fans began to theorize that Bailey didn't like Halo being in the public eye so heavily, but went along with it due to the internet-heavy nature of DDG's work. Since making this post, Bailey has deactivated her X account without any further statement.

Her post sparked debate amongst fans who thought it was unfair that she would try to prohibit him from having his son on the stream, as he is the boy's father. Many felt that it should be up to his discretion whether he had the child online or not. Others understand where the Little Mermaid actress is coming from. It's speculated that the mixed reaction is what pushed Bailey to deactivate her account.

DDG has not responded to Halle Bailey's message publicly but has since posted an image of their son on his Instagram story.
