Pop star Justin Timberlake is making amends for his previous alleged transgressions with women in the wake of the “Framing Britney Spears” documentary.

Spears is dealing with a legal fight with her family regarding her conservatorship and the documentary showed her apparent mental breakdown and the part her split with Timberlake allegedly played in that.

The two dated at the height of their teen careers and were tabloid fodder but, apparently, there was much going on behind the scenes.

Timberlake took to Instagram to issue his mea culpa to Spears as well as Janet Jackson, whose “wardrobe malfunction” during a SuperBowl halftime performance with him subjected her to scorn.

“I’ve seen the messages, tags, comments, and concerns and I want to respond. I am deeply sorry for the times in my life where my actions contributed to the problem, where I spoke out of turn, or did not speak up for what was right. I understand that I fell short in these moments and in many others and benefited from a system that condones misogyny and racism,” he said on Friday.
