Over the weekend, Kelsea Ballerini made her debut on “Saturday Night Live,” achieving the pinnacle of success in late-night television.

The talented country-pop artist showcased her skills by performing two songs on the influential sketch comedy program. One of the performances was a powerful rendition of “Penthouse,” a standout track from Ballerini’s surprise EP, “Rolling Up The Welcome Mat,” which was released last month. The emotional piano-and-vocals performance left a lasting impression on the audience.

Ballerini, a 29-year-old native of Tennessee, went through a difficult time after her nearly five-year marriage to fellow singer Morgan Evans ended in August of last year. However, she has channeled her experiences into her music, creating a powerful and heartfelt body of work that has resonated with fans around the world.

Ballerini donned a pristine white outfit and delivered a powerful performance of “Kiss Me Like A Stranger,” singing, “Last night I kissed someone new, but now I don’t know where you’re sleeping, baby. We got along well until I wanted out, and now I know you hate me.”
