With ten days left until the New Hampshire GOP primary, Gov. Chris Sununu is doing all he can to help 2024 presidential hopeful Nikki Haley make it across the finish line.
The conservative governor endorsed Haley weeks ago, stating she’s the most qualified candidate who can win the primary, beat Biden in the general, and revive the United States.
On multiple occasions, Sununu has also declared the GOP primary is a “two-person” race between the former UN ambassador and former President Trump. In saying this, Sununu makes it clear he doesn’t believe other Republican candidates – like Ron DeSantis, Asa Hutchinson, or Vivek Ramaswamy – stand a serious chance of winning.
Sununu’s been on the ground in New Hampshire, doing the grassroots work, and encouraging voters in his state to back Haley during the primary. Not only has her polling gone up following his endorsement, but the 2024 GOP hopeful is also doing well with moderates and Independents in the Granite State.
As the New Hampshire governor supports Haley, he’s also dismissing criticism of her from Kentucky GOP Sen. Rand Paul.
Not sweating “Never Nikki”
Earlier this month, Paul made it clear that of all the GOP candidates seeking the party’s nomination, he firmly stands against Haley. The Kentucky senator truly drove this point home upon unleashing a “Never Nikki” website, taking issue with her foreign policy positions.
