  • Santa Clara County Courts Under Scrutiny: Lawyers and litigants call for federal probes into rampant judicial bias in sanctuary city strongholds like San Jose, California.
  • USA Herald Exclusive Coming Soon: We are investigating Judge Dugan's role in allegedly aiding an undocumented assailant during an ongoing domestic violence case.

Attorney General Pam Bondi delivered a stark warning to judges across the country this week during a powerful Fox News interview, declaring: "We will find you."

Her message was clear: judges who subvert federal law, aid undocumented immigrants, or harbor fugitives will face serious consequences.

“We don’t care who you are," Bondi emphasized. “If you are harboring a fugitive, helping hide one, or arming gang members who are illegally in this country, we will come after you, and we will prosecute you.”

Bondi’s chilling vow comes just hours after the FBI arrested Milwaukee County Circuit Judge Hannah Dugan, who is accused of helping Eduardo Flores-Ruiz, an undocumented Mexican national, evade arrest inside her own courtroom.

According to authorities, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents entered Dugan's courthouse on April 18 with a lawful warrant in hand. Flores-Ruiz was facing misdemeanor charges stemming from a March 12 domestic violence incident—and his victim was ready to testify against him.

Instead of allowing the judicial process to unfold, Judge Dugan allegedly helped Flores-Ruiz slip away through a back exit, triggering a dramatic foot chase with ICE agents before his eventual capture.

Kash Patel, FBI Director, didn't mince words either, stating:

“We believe Judge Dugan intentionally misdirected federal agents away from the subject to be arrested, Eduardo Flores Ruiz, allowing an illegal alien to evade arrest.”

Meanwhile, Dugan’s attorney, Craig Mastantuono, protested the arrest, claiming it was “not made in the interest of public safety.”

But Bondi, Patel, and many others across the legal community argue otherwise: this was about upholding the rule of law, something they insist activist judges have been actively undermining for far too long.

Cracking Down on Judicial Corruption: California on Notice

Sources familiar with the situation tell USA Herald that the Trump administration is preparing a sweeping "defensive" operation targeting activist judges at both the state and federal levels—especially in California, where sanctuary policies often clash with federal immigration law.

Santa Clara County, home to San Jose, is high on their radar.

In recent months, many lawyers, litigants, and legal observers have complained about systemic bias in Santa Clara County courts, where many allege that certain judges are showing a dramatic shift in favoring undocumented litigants.

“It’s become a pattern,” one attorney, who asked to remain anonymous for fear of retaliation, told USA Herald. “Judicial discretion is being abused as a political weapon.”

In California, judicial discretion allows judges flexibility in decision-making—but when discretion morphs into outright manipulation to favor illegal immigrants, it’s an abuse of power that undermines public confidence in the judiciary.

Under appellate standards, this kind of behavior would be classified as "abuse of judicial discretion," a legal term describing when a judge acts arbitrarily, irrationally, or outside the bounds of established law.

Many litigants facing biased courtrooms have reported that judges in Santa Clara County routinely use discretion not to pursue justice, but to promote their personal political agendas—particularly around immigration issues.

The Bigger Picture: Judicial Bias as a National Security Threat

The judiciary is supposed to be the neutral guardian of our laws. When judges start legislating from the bench—or worse, aiding fugitives—they fundamentally erode the public trust.

Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts recently pushed back against calls for judicial impeachments, insisting that “impeachment is not an appropriate response to disagreement concerning a judicial decision.”

But critics argue this misses the point. Judicial activism isn’t just about "disagreements"—it’s about national security, systemic fairness, and the integrity of American courts.

And administrative procedures exist precisely because courts cannot afford to let rogue judges sit on the bench for five, ten, or twenty years while cases slog through endless appeals.

Bondi’s warning signals that the Trump administration is taking this issue seriously, with real-time accountability and swift consequences for judicial misconduct.

USA Herald Exclusive: The Next Chapter in Judge Dugan’s Scandal

USA Herald is launching an in-depth investigation into the domestic violence case that Judge Dugan was presiding over when she allegedly helped Flores-Ruiz escape.

Our readers deserve to know:

  • Was there prior evidence of bias in Judge Dugan’s courtroom?
  • Was she planning to rule in favor of Flores-Ruiz even if the victim testified?
  • Was there a broader conspiracy among activist judges and state officials to shield undocumented immigrants from deportation?

In California's hyper-politicized courtrooms, some believe the “save the illegal immigrant at all costs” culture is an open secret.

The growing suspicion is that judges like Dugan—and others in San Jose and throughout sanctuary cities—are misusing their positions to shield those they ideologically support, even if it means endangering public safety.

Final Thoughts

Pam Bondi’s ominous words—"We will find you"—mark a turning point.
No longer will activist judges operate with impunity. The legal community and American citizens alike are demanding transparency, accountability, and the restoration of integrity to the judiciary.

The question now isn't if there will be more arrests—but how soon.
