Selena Gomez has tied the knot with music producer and songwriter Benny Blanco, announcing the joyful news in an Instagram post featuring the couple kissing and embracing on a picturesque lawn.

Gomez, 33, wore a custom Ralph Lauren halter bridal gown adorned with floral flourishes, while Blanco, 37, donned a classic tuxedo and bow tie from the same designer. Blanco’s heartfelt comment — “my wife in real life” — quickly melted the internet.

Selena Gomez has a Star-Studded Celebration

Paparazzi captured glimpses of a large outdoor tent and other wedding preparations in the Santa Barbara area ahead of the event. BFF Taylor Swift was on hand to wish the couple all the best.

The celebration sparked waves of congratulatory messages across social media. Gomez’s Rare Beauty brand chimed in with: “so happy for you two,” while her Hulu series Only Murders in the Building posted: “Our Mabel is MARRIED.”

Stars such as Camila Cabello and Amy Schumer also sent their love, reflecting the wide admiration Gomez holds in the entertainment industry.

From Collaboration to Romance

The newlyweds first met nearly a decade ago and collaborated on the 2019 track “I Can’t Get Enough” with J Balvin and Tainy. Blanco has long been recognized as one of pop’s most prolific producers, with credits on hits such as Katy Perry’s “Teenage Dream”, Britney Spears’ “Circus”, and Maroon 5’s “Moves Like Jagger.”

Gomez, meanwhile, has grown from her Disney Channel days on Wizards of Waverly Place to global superstardom, with chart-toppers like “Good for You,” “Calm Down,” and “Come & Get It.” She also continues to earn acclaim for her acting role in Only Murders in the Building. With 417 million Instagram followers, she remains the most-followed woman on the platform.

Love, Laughter, and Little Sandwiches

The couple has shared lighthearted anecdotes about their journey together. Blanco once revealed that Gomez accidentally confessed her love while recovering from hand surgery.

“She just goes, ‘I love you,’ coming out of anesthesia,” Blanco recalled. “I was like, ‘Go back to bed.’”

In a joint interview earlier this year, Gomez teased her quirky wedding wish:

“I want to have little sandwiches with pickles for my friends.”

Blanco affectionately responded, “She’s really the cheapest date. Everything is real easy.”

Looking Ahead

Though the pair had once joked they hadn’t started wedding planning due to busy schedules, the Santa Barbara ceremony marked the beginning of their new chapter together. Fans flooded social media with love for the couple, celebrating what Gomez described in a caption as the most important day of her life: “9.27.25” followed by a white heart emoji.
