Sprint offering unlimited cheap data plan

Americans are obsessed with staying connected. Everyday we use our phones, laptops, tablets, smartwatches and other devices to stay in the loop. But all of these connections cost money. Internet plans and cell phone plans can be complicated and expensive, but one company is looking to make cell phone data plans inexpensive and uncomplicated.

Sprint, for a limited time only is offering a $25/month unlimited data, talk, and text plan. The giant internet company is one of four major carriers, and this $25 plan is by far the cheapest by nearly 50 percent.

WhistleOut, a company that compares cell phones, internet, and data plans says the average unlimited data plan costs around $50/month. WhistleOut believes this inexpensive plan is a way for Sprint to get customers to switch carriers, and try out their new reliable network.

According to a press release by Sprint, they claim to have the most improved network around, “… you’ll find that we’ve made great improvements to our network. In fact, Sprint has the most improved network according to Ookla as shown in Speedtest Intelligence data, and PCMag’s 2018 Fastest Mobile Networks report. In both, the company’s year-over-year increase in national average download speeds outpaced the competitors – including an 87 percent lift as reported in PCMag’s annual tests.”
