Rock legends The Doobie Brothers are set to embark on a major North American tour in 2025, bringing their classic hits and fresh tracks to fans across the U.S. and Canada.

The tour kicks off on August 4 in Detroit, Michigan, at the Pine Knob Music Theatre and includes stops in major cities such as Boston, Chicago, New York, and Toronto.

New Album: Walk This Road

The Doobie Brothers' tour coincides with the release of their new album, Walk This Road, which is set to drop on June 6, 2025.

The album marks a special reunion, featuring original members Patrick Simmons, Tom Johnston, Michael McDonald, and John McFee collaborating on original studio material for the first time since 1980.

Fans can already enjoy a taste of the new album with the singles "Walk This Road," featuring Mavis Staples, and "Call Me," both of which are available now.

Special Guests Joining the Tour

The Doobie Brothers won't be touring alone. They have announced that The Coral Reefer Band, famously known for their performances with the late Jimmy Buffett, will be joining them as special guests on this journey.

A Legacy That Continues

Reflecting on their longevity and passion for performing, founding member Patrick Simmons, now 76, shared his thoughts on aging rockers still touring.

“A lot of people will be like, ‘Oh god, you want to be out, die on the road?’ Well, why not? It’s as good as going anywhere else. The dream of getting up there and rockin' onstage, that was all kind of what we idealized as kids, and here we are, as old guys, still living it.”

With new music, a stellar lineup, and a relentless passion for the stage, The Doobie Brothers prove they’re far from slowing down.

Coming Around Again: Doobie Brothers

The Doobie Brothers, an American rock band formed in San Jose, California, in 1970, became one of the most successful acts of the 1970s. Their signature blend of rock, R&B, and country, along with their intricate vocal harmonies, has kept them relevant for over 50 years.

Doobie Brothers tour tickets are on sale now, and given the band’s continued popularity, it’s wise to secure seats in advance. Tickets officially went on sale Friday, February 14, via Live Nation, with a presale option available on the website.
