Trump’s UFO files reveal mysterious flying objects spotted by Apollo astronauts on the Moon

UFO Files

The newly released UFO Files from the Trump administration have reignited debate over extraterrestrial life, unidentified aerial phenomena, and decades of government secrecy.

On Friday, the administration declassified hundreds of pages of records, photographs, videos, and mission transcripts tied to sightings of mysterious flying objects, including incidents reported during NASA’s historic Apollo moon missions.

The release included 162 newly unsealed files uploaded to the U.S. Department of Defense website, with officials promising additional disclosures in the coming months.

President Donald Trump celebrated the release on Truth Social, saying his administration ordered the publication of documents involving “alien and extraterrestrial life, unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP), and unidentified flying objects (UFOs).”

Pentagon Releases Long-Secret UFO Files

The document release contains a wide range of materials dating back to the 1940s, including FBI memos, State Department communications, NASA mission transcripts, photographs, and military reports.

One of the most discussed files involves a 1967 FBI memorandum documenting claims made by an anonymous young woman who allegedly feared retaliation after reporting contact with beings connected to UFO sightings.

According to the memo, the woman claimed she had received information from a “being from another planet who had assumed earthly form.” She reportedly warned officials that witnesses connected to UFO encounters had “died mysteriously in the past.”

The Federal Bureau of Investigation document has already fueled intense online speculation among UFO researchers and conspiracy theorists.

More information about the FBI can be found at Federal Bureau of Investigation.

Apollo Mission Transcripts in UFO Files

Among the most closely examined records are transcripts from the Apollo 12 mission and Apollo 17 mission.

The files reportedly detail several encounters with unexplained objects observed near lunar landers during the missions.

Some released images appear to show strange aerial objects hovering or moving in the distance while astronauts explored the moon’s surface.

The administration described the materials as part of a broader effort to improve transparency surrounding unidentified anomalous phenomena.

NASA Administrator Jared Isaacman publicly praised the move.

“I applaud President Trump’s whole-of-government effort to bring greater transparency to the American people on unidentified anomalous phenomena,” Isaacman wrote on X.

Information about NASA’s moon missions is available through NASA Apollo Program.

Hegseth Promises “Unprecedented Transparency”

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said the administration intends to continue releasing records connected to UAP investigations.

Hegseth described the disclosure effort as an attempt to provide “unprecedented transparency” regarding what the government knows about unexplained aerial sightings.

The Defense Department has increasingly used the term “Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena” rather than UFOs in recent years to describe unexplained airborne, underwater, or space-related objects.

Congress has also held multiple hearings in recent years examining military reports of unexplained aerial encounters.

Public Fascinated By UFO Files

Interest in UFOs and extraterrestrial life has surged in recent years following several

government disclosures and whistleblower allegations.

In 2020, the Pentagon officially confirmed the authenticity of several military-recorded videos showing unexplained flying objects maneuvering in unusual ways.

Since then, lawmakers, intelligence officials, and former military personnel have pushed for greater disclosure regarding classified investigations into aerial phenomena.

The newly released files are expected to intensify calls for further declassification efforts.

Critics, however, caution that many UFO sightings ultimately turn out to have conventional explanations, including experimental aircraft, atmospheric conditions, camera distortions, or classified military technology.

Still, the mystery surrounding some incidents continues to capture public attention.

Moon Mission Sightings in UFO Files Fuel Online Debate

The Apollo-related materials have become especially controversial online because they appear to involve eyewitness observations made by astronauts during some of humanity’s most historic space missions.

Supporters of UFO disclosure claim the files suggest governments may have withheld evidence of unexplained activity near Earth and the moon for decades.

Skeptics argue the images and transcripts require scientific analysis before any conclusions can be drawn.

The Pentagon has not stated that the released materials confirm extraterrestrial life.

Instead, officials say the files are being released to encourage transparency and public review.

Additional government information about UAP investigations can be found at All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO).
