Elon Musk tweeted Tuesday that he’ll be revitalizing what he called ‘Blue Verified’ on November 29 after first halting it last Friday.

Musk wrote, “Punting relaunch of Blue Verified to November 29th to make sure that it is rock solid.”

Blue Verified is Musk’s name for Twitter Blue, a paid tier that the social platform first launched in June 2021. It allowed users to undo tweets, bookmark folders, and enter “a more beautiful reading experience” through reader mode.

Since Musk took over Twitter a few weeks ago, he’s been planning a renovation of Twitter Blue, including charging verified users $7.99 monthly to keep or obtain a blue check mark.

But Musk’s initial plot of the new Twitter Blue didn’t go as planned.

When the feature began on November 5, Twitter was flooded with impersonators, including many fake Elons.

Since then, the social behemoth’s team has been grappling with the feature, unveiling and removing check marks to beat the invasion of impersonators buying themselves authenticity on the platform.
