President Trump’s Friday in Germany was quite eventful to say the least. Earlier, he sat down with Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto for the very first time. According to reports from the LA Times, President Trump still intends for Mexico to pay for the Southern border wall. Conversely, the Mexican President has stated that he has no intention of engaging in this operation. The relationship between the United States and Mexico is tense to say the least, but many people hoped this meeting would serve as the beginning of making amends.

Despite the tension between the United States and Mexico, Mr. Trump referred to Mr. Pena Nieto as a friend, according to ABC News. Additionally, he believes progress is being made.
