The DC Flash star, Ezra Miller entered a plea of “Not Guilty” in a remote court appearance. He is charged with felony burglary in Stamford, Vermont. And is accused of the May 1st theft of bottles of liquor taken from his neighbors while they were away from home.

"As a result of an investigation that included surveillance videos and statements, probable cause was found to charge Ezra M. Miller with the offense of felony burglary into an unoccupied dwelling."

Vermont State Police eventually located the DC Flash and "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" actor on August 7. And issued the first court summons over the felony charge at that time.

In order to be released from jail Miller was ordered to stay away from the homeowner that was allegedly burglarized. He is also required to distance himself from Aiden Early and 5 other residents.

 Miller's attorney Lisa Skelkrot,  says that Miller will respect all the conditions of the release. And when the judge asked the Flash actor if he understood and agreed. Miller said he did.  

DC Flash star has complex mental health issues

Miller, who goes by they/them pronouns, is also being accused of grooming young girls. And running a cult-like group at his Vermont farm.

They have released a statement apologizing for their behavior in a string of incidents and said they were 'suffering complex mental health issues'. And has begun new treatment.

Miller said they were 'committed to doing the necessary work to get back to a healthy, safe and productive stage'.

They also added they 'want to apologize to everyone that I have alarmed and upset with my past behavior'.

DC Universe quandary

Miller's upcoming case presents a problem for Warner Bros and the DC Universe. And he may have other pending litigation on the horizon.

The planned June 23, 2024, release of The Flash superhero movie is also in question. Miller is the star of the film, which is supposed to start a character timeline for future films in the DC universe.

Earlier this year, it was rumored that Warner Bros wanted to shelve Miller’s movie. And attempt to reshoot it with Elliot Page recast in the role of Flash.

In March, the DC Flash star was previously arrested for disorderly conduct. And in April he was briefly jailed for a second-degree assault. Authorities claim that in the 30 days he was on a visit to Hawaii, he was the subject of 10 calls to 911.

According to the Rolling Stone, child services in Vermont are trying to find a mother and her three children who were allegedly living with Miller. And Miller’s residence was described as a “drug-and-gun-filled Vermont farmhouse.”
