 According to Rolling Stone “the only thing the internet loves more than a hot, half-naked gamer girl, is a hot, half-naked gamer girl who’s expert at trolling.”

Belle Delphine revealed earlier this month that a 2019 caper should have earned her $90K in profits. But it ended up costing her money.

Posing in cat ears and a pink wig, Mary-Belle Kirschner, aka Belle Delphine, was known for trolling her large fan base. She is directly appealing to gamer boys by appearing as the kind of girl that they may dream about.

 She was very directly playing into the sensibilities of these kinds of men according to the Rolling Stone.

Viral Bathwater Stunt

She announced she was going to sell jars of her "gamergirl bathwater" to her “thirsty gamer boy fans” for $30 apiece. 

The stunt got widespread attention, and she sold hundreds of jars within three days.

When the prank went viral a number of articles appeared. Readers wondered who was buying the bathwater and what would they do with it. Other people were impressed with her business savvy. And her ability to give her customers what they want.

There was also a number of reaction videos from YouTubers. The videos featured YouTubers drinking, cooking, and even vaping the bathwater.

During the swirl of activity PayPal and Instagram cut her off.

PayPal Reverses Itself

On X where she currently has 2 million followers, Belle Delphine explained that the payment processing system she used for the bathwater sale was PayPal. And they never paid her and kept the money.

According to PayPal’s current terms of service, it allows “U.S.-only transactions for certain sexually oriented physical goods that are physically delivered to the customer.”

“PayPal, without any warning closed my PayPal account and took the $90,000 that I earned from selling my bathwater,” the content creator wrote.

“Not only did I not earn any money selling my bathwater, but I in fact also lost money doing it,” she wrote on X.

The content creator apparently violated PayPal’s policy. And each sale was counted as an individual violation worth a $2,500 fine.

She also explained that PayPal didn’t return the money to her customers and that she shipped the product, anyway, costing her $11 a jar to ship to the United States.

An article from Business Insider reported that PayPal has now reversed this decision. And were returning all the proceeds to Belle Delphine.

After five years she is getting a bathwater bonanza.  But it was only happening because Delphine, posted a viral tweet about the situation earlier this month.

“Which is so shitty because what are all the normal non-social media users meant to do in this situation?” she said in a Business Insider interview. “I followed all the normal protocols and was roadblocked and gave up.”
