Black and Hispanic Employment Rises Under President Trump

Despite the overwhelming Democratic assertions that a Trump Presidency would harm people of color, the precise opposite is proving to be true, as noted by Fox News.

Increased Employment Among Hispanic, Asian, and Black Americans

According to the U.S. Department of Labor, the rate of black unemployment decreased by 1.5% since President Trump's election victory. The decrease from 8.3% to now 6.8% is the lowest since 1972 when then-President Richard Nixon was in office. Likewise, unemployment for Hispanic Americans has lessened by 0.8% since October 2016. Finally, Asian-Americans also experienced an unemployment rate of 2.5%.

Many conservatives have attributed the aforementioned employment upsurges to President Trump's economic policies and the lack of welfare expansion. Right leaning Americans maintain that welfare and other government subsidized programs actually harm minorities more than others by keeping them dependent on the government as opposed to them working and increasing their own income and lifestyles.

More on President Trump and Minority Employment Upsurges

Despite the economic improvements, many of President Trump's critics are questioning whether or not he is truly responsible for them. On Saturday, Newsweek, a publication heavily regarded as left leaning, noted claims that decreased federal interest rates and former President Obama's time in office are responsible for the reduction of minority unemployment.

However, the vast majority of President Trump's supporters strongly disagree. As a matter of fact, most Republicans and Trump voters have stated that some people dislike the President so much that they will never credit him for anything positive. The aforesaid phenomenon was dubbed as a symptom of "Trump Derangement Syndrome" by the President's supporters via social media.

President Trump and the Economy

Minority unemployment is one of several positive economic decreases since President Trump's time in office. According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture, food stamp enrollment nationally dwindled by 2.7% between September 2016 and September 2017.

The President has also noted additional economic improvements since his time in the Oval Office:

"Within the first 11 months, we canceled or delayed over 1,500 planned regulatory actions, more than any previous president, by far. You see the results, when you look at the stock market, the results of companies, and when you see companies coming back into our country."

Finally, Trump supporters have lauded the President's accomplishments via Twitter:
