Founded over 130 years ago, Allianz operates in nearly 70 countries and is one of the world’s largest financial services groups. With nine million customers, 80,000 distributors, and 35 distribution partners, Allianz reported an operating profit of €14.7 billion in 2023.
Shares in Allianz, traded on the Xetra, a trading venue of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, remained steady at €262.3 each on Wednesday morning.
Allianz and Income Insurance did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
