The company has sonar images in the Pacific Ocean that “appears to be Earhart’s Lockheed 10-E Electra” aircraft.
The company hunting for Earhart’s airplane announced the discovery on social media. They claim its 16-person crew “scanned more than 5,200 square miles of ocean floor.” before finding what they believe to be the legendary aviator’s Lockheed 10-E Electra.
