33 Stores to Close as Company Seeks Sale
As part of its restructuring roadmap, American Signature plans to close 33 stores early in the bankruptcy process. At the same time, it aims to secure a stalking-horse bid from a coalition of existing equity holders to set the baseline for an auction of the remaining assets.
The path forward will likely determine not only the chain’s survival but also the future for thousands of workers depending on the outcome.
Legal Representation
American Signature is represented in the case by Pachulski Stang Ziehl & Jones LLP, a firm well-known for steering distressed companies through bankruptcy battles.
