Amodei stated that Anthropic has not yet received official documentation of such designation but would respond through court action if necessary.

Amodei suggested that long-term governance of artificial intelligence should involve legislative oversight.

However, he acknowledged that legislative bodies often move slower than technological development.

“For right now, we are the ones who see this technology on the front line,” he said, emphasizing the company’s technical expertise.
