Griffiths co-founded ASOS in London in 2000 alongside Nick Robertson, Andrew Regan and Deborah Thorpe. Originally launched under the name “As Seen on Screen,” the company rebranded as ASOS in 2002 and grew rapidly into a global online fashion and beauty retailer.

At its peak, the company was valued at more than $8 billion, with high-profile figures such as Catherine, Princess of Wales and Michelle Obama wearing its in-house designs.

Griffiths left the company five years after its founding but remained a significant shareholder during its expansion into international markets. Authorities in Thailand continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding his death.
