At this point in the 2024 presidential election, Joe Biden has won the Democrat Party's primary. Donald Trump likewise carried the win in the GOP primary race. Both politicians will therefore face off one more time in November.

Heading into the general election, the Biden campaign is doing all it can to pull off another victory. Even before this year's primaries, the president stated multiple times that if the 2024 race came down to a repeat of 2020, he'd end up beating Trump yet again. Now, Biden will have to prove it.

Trump and many of his supporters, meanwhile, are on record saying they don't need the votes of Republicans who supported former UN ambassador Nikki Haley during the GOP primary. Now, Biden is working to win over Haley's supporters in the general election.

Let's see the Biden camp's latest pitch to Haley voters

On Friday, the president's campaign team released an ad titled "If You Voted For Nikki Haley..."

The 30-second piece is basically a montage of Trump not only insulting Haley, but also stating he doesn't really need the votes of her supporters.

Also included is a Truth Social post from the former president on January 24, 2024, declaring that MAGA doesn't want and "won't accept" Haley backers. In another clip, Trump expressly says, "I don't need votes. We have all the votes we need."

Finally, the ad wraps up with a call to action for Haley supporters to "save America" by joining the Biden Harris team.

This latest ad is part of a pattern for the current president. After Haley suspended her presidential campaign earlier this month, Biden released a statement, urging her voters to rally behind him in November.

Some Haley voters could back Biden in the general race

During Nikki Haley's run for the White House, various media figureheads spoke with some of her supporters.

Footage on social media shows these folks telling the press they wouldn't vote for Trump if he became the Republican Party's nominee. Polling of Haley supporters from earlier this year also showed that many of them would cross party lines to back Biden over Trump.
