Investing in the Future: Digital Connectivity & Clean Energy

The fund is already making waves, having committed capital to at least two major players:

  • Strategic Venue Partners, an in-building wireless infrastructure platform
  • Origis Energy, a U.S. renewable energy developer

With a “material portion” of the fund already committed, Brookfield signaled that it has a strong pipeline of upcoming opportunities and expects the strategy to scale significantly in the coming years.

Backing its conviction, Brookfield-affiliated entities contributed $150 million to the fund, demonstrating a firm internal commitment to its long-term vision.

A Milestone Moment for Brookfield’s Expansion

The fund’s success is being hailed as a landmark in Brookfield’s infrastructure expansion strategy, particularly in providing capital solutions to a broader set of investors, including other sponsors.

“We are delighted with the support from our clients for this first-time fundraise,” said Ian Simes, managing partner and co-head of the infrastructure debt and structured solutions business. “This marks another major step in Brookfield Infrastructure’s expansion into the middle market.”

As infrastructure investment needs grow at an unprecedented pace, Brookfield’s latest fund positions it as a critical player in shaping the next era of global infrastructure.
