A Partnership Rooted in Purpose and Clean Energy
Under the terms of the agreement, Verite Capital founder and managing partner Don Jones will become the majority owner of Buffalo Biodiesel and take on the role of chairman once the deal closes.
Jones described the partnership as a natural fit for Verite’s investment philosophy: “We believe in business with purpose,” he said. “Becoming a partner and chairman of Buffalo Biodiesel allows us to invest in a growth company that aligns with our values — equity, community, and clean energy.”
He added, “Together, we’ll expand operations east of the Mississippi, bring renewable gas production to new markets, and create meaningful employment opportunities. This is more than an investment — it’s a blueprint for sustainable industry.”
Fueling the Future of Renewable Energy
The Verite Capital $300M Investment represents more than a financial injection — it’s a statement about the intersection of environmental innovation and private equity. The partnership will strengthen Buffalo Biodiesel’s logistics, enhance processing monitoring systems, and scale infrastructure to meet rising demand for renewable natural gas.
Majumdar emphasized that the deal is about long-term regional transformation: “This partnership marks a pivotal moment not just for our company, but for the region’s clean-energy future.”
Legal advisors for the deal were not disclosed Friday, but the announcement signals a new era for U.S. green fuel production, as corporate partnerships increasingly steer investment toward sustainability-driven ventures.
