Prosecutors allege that, together, the pair ran a criminal enterprise steeped in manipulation, coercion, and violence from 2018 to 2021. The indictment is staggering in its scope: rape, aggravated sodomy, racketeering, enticing women into prostitution, and trafficking—all under the guise of glitz and celebrity.

Authorities claim that the operation wasn’t a solo act. Smith—universally known among followers as “Mama Ca$h Out”—is accused of orchestrating the day-to-day logistics: managing the victims, collecting their earnings, and helping maintain control through isolation, threats, and financial domination.

“This case is a deeply disturbing example of abuse of power and influence,” declared the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office in a statement that rocked Atlanta’s music community.

Investigators say the victims were often cut off from family and resources, kept under a web of intimidation at multiple locations, from apartments to hotels across the city.

Ca$h Out rose to fame in 2012 with the radio juggernaut “Cashin’ Out,” signing to Epic Records under the legendary L.A. Reid. He enjoyed high-profile collaborations with Wale, Akon, and more, but as the spotlight faded, prosecutors say a darker story began to unfold. Rather than cashing out, Gibson allegedly cashed in on the dreams of others, drawing vulnerable women with promises of a fast track to music stardom or financial windfall—then trapping them in a spiral of exploitation.
