Lead plaintiffs from California, Missouri, Virginia, Minnesota, and Georgia pursued claims including negligence, breach of contract, and violation of state privacy laws, such as the California Constitution’s right to privacy and Virginia’s Data Breach Notification Law.
Class counsel, including Norman E. Siegel and Austin Moore of Stueve Siegel Hanson LLP, and other attorneys from Bell Law LLC, Wagstaff & Cartmell LLP, Hiraldo PA, and Dapeer Law PA, praised the court’s approval. Austin Moore emphasized that the settlement is “fair, reasonable and adequate,” and preparations for distributing payments to class members are underway.
