On Tuesday, October 15, the legal team behind music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs filed a motion requesting that prosecutors reveal details of their client’s accusers. The lawyers broke down the reasons in a letter to a Manhattan federal court judge. Diddy reportedly needs to know the identities of his alleged victims to properly prepare for his May 5, 2025, court date.

What’s In The Letter?

The letter bore the signatures of Combs’ attorneys Marc Agnifilo and Teny Geragos who brought up the fact of his celebrity. According to the lawyers, Combs’ wealth and fame, coupled with how much attention his previous lawsuit received, make his present case rather unique. They also brought up factors such as leaked information from a grand jury and false statements from DHS agents.

Per the letter, all of the above means Combs is facing a wave of accusations from unidentified complainants, some of which are false or completely ridiculous. The lawyers appear to allude to Cassie Ventura’s 2023 lawsuit against Combs. The musician’s ex-girlfriend accused him of physical abuse, rape, and sex trafficking but settled the very next day. Since then, however, several individuals have emerged with similar accusations against Combs.
