FDA Announces Recall of Rhino Choco VIP 10X Supplement After Undeclared Erectile Dysfunction Drug Found in Chocolate Product

Federal health authorities have announced a nationwide recall of a chocolate-based male enhancement supplement after laboratory testing revealed it contains a prescription medication used to treat erectile dysfunction.

According to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, Brooklyn-based company USALESS.COM is voluntarily recalling its Rhino Choco VIP 10X product due to the presence of Tadalafil — the active pharmaceutical ingredient found in Cialis.

Undeclared Prescription Ingredient Raises Safety Concerns

Tadalafil is approved for use in prescription medications to treat erectile dysfunction and certain other medical conditions. However, it is not permitted in over-the-counter supplements and must be clearly disclosed when used in approved pharmaceutical products.

In this case, the ingredient was not listed on the supplement’s packaging, prompting regulatory concern.

Health officials warn that Tadalafil can pose serious risks when taken unknowingly. The drug may interact with nitrate medications commonly prescribed for chest pain and heart conditions. When combined, the substances can cause a sudden and potentially dangerous drop in blood pressure.
